So over the past 2 years Sophie's has made a great friend. Her name is Michelle. Michelle invited her to a week long Christian Summer camp. She was excited to go, but as most parents would attest, it was a bit nerve racking for us as this would be the 1st time she would be away from us (2 1/2 hours away) with anyone other than family. No phone access either. Eek. So after some research and much thought, we decided to let her go. Well it was all for the best. She got tons out of it and had a fabulous time, so it's likely to be a yearly event. Of course we had to be there for the drop off and pickup so feel free to check out the images. The whole camp had an Old West theme, complete with horses and shoot'em up performances. Overall... a really great experience for her.
